Jessie & Rocco Engagement Session
Jessie and Rocco had a stunning end of Summer session at one of my all-time favorite locations, Divine Park in Spring Lake, New Jersey. The end of August is such a perfect time of year for sessions because the season is right on the cusp of change. The scenery and their outfits perfectly captured this transitional period of saying goodbye to the Summer heat and entering into the crisp chill of Autumn.
Jessie later told me they were a bit nervous about possibly being “awkward” during their session. So many couples feel this way beforehand!! It is super common especially if it is your first time in front of a camera. That’s where I come in! Being a photographer is so much more than just clicking a button. A huge part of being a professional photographer is knowing how to put your clients at ease, posing them in the most flattering positions, and ensuring that their personalities are genuinely captured.
Jessie and Rocco are such a fun couple, I was laughing with them throughout the entire session! Any hesitation they might have had was put to rest as soon as we started joking around. They were able to be their most authentic selves and I have the photos to prove it!
Rocco and Jessie met online, as many couples do nowadays. Jessie was slightly nervous Rocco might be a serial killer before they met in person, so she pretended that she couldn’t find his house and had him meet her in a local park instead. Luckily, Jessie had nothing to worry about because the two of them knew they liked each other instantly after that very first day!
One of their favorite activities is running down to Atlantic City for the weekend. My fiancé and I also absolutely love going down to Atlantic City for quick weekend getaways whenever we can. It’s like sneaking in a mini vacation just a few hours from home!
Jessie and Rocco are getting married in January 2024 at the breathtaking Park Château in East Brunswick, New Jersey. I am honored to be able to photograph their wedding day and can’t wait to spend time with this fun-loving couple again!
